2. Lightmare Watch
This chunky watch with a rubber band has a novel way for displaying the time. You know how you’re expected to recall the position of numbers on a watch with a blank face? Well this watch operates on the same principle, but substitute a large inner dot for the hour hand position and a small outer dot for the minute hand position. Cool huh? 3. Diskette Handbag
This is a totally unique black vinyl handbag with six real 3.5” high-density 1.44MB diskettes on each side (12 x 1.44 MB = 17.28 MB total). Two snap pockets, one with a zippered change pocket, and two elastic pockets are on the walls of the main compartment. A removable, magnetic latch holds the top edges together. It can fit keys, a cellphone, an iPod Mini, a wallet, and a few paperbacks. And make you look totally sweet!

It’s all in celebration of a Halloweeen party Saturday night in Chicago, headlined by Josh Davis (BitShifter). Party ringleader Liz joins Josh on behalf of subVariant to represent the IDM-glitch-minimal-tech-house side of things, and Mr. Automatic (Front 312) and Onefiftyone (Chicago Workshop) will be joining in.
