This is a limited run of ties printed from vintage circuit board patterns. Although this design has been done quite to death already, these are different because they have been screen printed from real vintage PCB screens covered with schematics from the 60s, 70s and 80s before parts became overly micro-nized and circuits integrated into tiny packages.
We sleuthed the provenance of this vintage screen to the best of our knowledge. It appears these were for small CRT displays/control monitors in the mid-80s. When fabricating actual circuit boards, silkscreens are used to print etch-resistant inks on to the board to protect the copper foil. Subsequent etching removes the unwanted copper and one is left with the desired copper pattern for conductivity.
LIMITED EDITION! As is the nature of vintage screens, once these screens die, that's it. (Not knowing the emulsion it was made with, they might hold up for a week, they might last for years!)
This print extends very high up on the tie, approx. 20" (51cm) from the bottom point; perfect to be seen from under a vest or jacket.
Choose from 3 widths - standard, narrow or skinny (for sassy girls or 60s flavor). Also available in one "big and tall" size, XL. For reference, standard width is 3.75-4"; narrow is 2.75-3"; and skinny is 1.5-2" wide at it's widest point.
the exchange process took a bit longer that I have hoped, but I like this tie. For anyone else doing an exchange here, it is faster to just buy what you want and return the other thing. You will have to pay shipping this way but it's faster. Just saying.
***FROM FRACTALSPIN: "Sorry about that, Tom. We'll work on making the exchange process faster."
finally, a tie I would wear

Saw this on Reddit... will keep this in mind next time I need a tie. I like that it doesn't look cheesy, either.

Looks just as it does in the picture. I'm happy with it.
